The Passive
Golf Swing
Ron del
Barrio
started
playing golf
like most
others;
having a
good time
and hanging
out with
friends.
But it was
apparent to
some of the
golf pros
where Ron
practiced
that he had
a unique
natural
talent for
golf.
After a few
years of
playing
local
tournaments,
legendary
singer
Smokey
Robinson
decided that
he would
sponsor Ron
for a year.
Within that
year (1992)
Ron won the
Buena
Ventura Open,
shooting 10
under par for
two days
while sick
with the
flu: and
from that
day, the
Passive Golf
Method was
born!
After
a
few
years
of
playing
on
mini-tours
and
managing
to set 9
course
records
(recently
shooting 62
at Angeles
National),
Ron took a
minute and
decided that
he was much
more
interested
in teaching
rather than
traveling
and returned
to the range
where it all started
and began
teaching
what he's coined as
"Passive Golf."
Professional
athletes, corporate
executives and
those with pre-existing
and golf related
back ailments, the
Passive Swing Method
has brought many to
understand that golf
is not about being
aggressive with the
arms, hands and hips
but passive power
with the stronger core
muscles. For that,
Ron's students are
enjoying a new
understanding and
approach in getting
the results they are
looking for out of
their golf game.
Throughout the
1990's Ron also built an impressive
clientele which is
more like a
who's who of
Hollywood from Sly
Stallone,
Will Smith,
Kevin
Costner, Denzel
Washington,
Joe Pesci,
Eddie Van
Halen,
Smokey
Robinson to
name a few.
Although Ron has
been teaching this
same method for over
15 years, the
"industry" has
finally caught up
and deemed the
"Modern Swing" or
the "Passive Swing"
new and
revolutionary. Ron is
offering these free
web-site tips to you
in the comfort of your
own home. There is
no question that
this is not only
easier on the body
and the brain
but it is 100% of
what the big-time
pro's know that you
don't!
You can download all
the golf tips for free
and
take them with you
to the range on your
hand held device.
